ASSEMBLY & SELECTION GUIDE
Battery Connector RFQ Brief: Part Numbers, Interfaces and Project Stage
A copyable purchasing brief that separates confirmed details from unknowns, firm quantities from forecasts, and exact drawings from series references.

Use this brief to pass candidate parts and project requirements to the appropriate engineering or supply contact. Write “to be confirmed” for unknowns; do not fill gaps from a similar appearance. For technical checks, see the 10-point selection checklist.
Copyable enquiry brief
- Candidate Kangsheng part / current part: ____; if unknown, attach a photo and application description for identification only.
- Interface and mating side: battery / device / charging cradle ____; mating part and contact style ____; who defines the interface and approves substitutions ____.
- Contact count and functions: ____; pitch and measurement basis: ____; do not infer unknown pin assignments.
- Assembly space: available length, width and height, mounting direction, locating posts or fixing positions ____; units and tolerances ____.
- Drawing information: filename, revision and date ____; exact part covered ____; confirmed dimensions versus items awaiting engineering confirmation ____.
- Project stage: initial selection / sample validation / pilot build / production ____; quantity for this request ____; forecast volume and time period ____; distinguish forecasts from firm orders.
- Electrical and environmental requirements: working voltage, continuous and peak current, duration and operating environment ____; these are project requirements, not verified connector ratings.
- Delivery location, requested timing and reply contact: ____; requested timing is not a supplier lead-time commitment.
Describe height and contact-count differences precisely
The BC-82 comparison illustrates recorded contact-count and housing-height differences. The BC-75 comparison shows why matching pin counts and pitch still require geometry checks. Name the specific candidate part when referencing either article; a series name is not proof of fit.
Plastic housing height is neither working contact height nor compression travel. Shared pitch, pin count or appearance does not guarantee compatibility. A drawing file being available does not mean it has been reviewed or covers every version.
Confirm these points in the reply
Ask the supplier to identify the exact part documentation, quotation basis, packaging and order-quantity conditions, availability and lead time. List unresolved details before making sample-fit or production commitments. This guide supplies no fixed product current, voltage, certification, MOQ, stock or lead-time claims.
When ready, submit your enquiry brief. This is a preparation method, not evidence that a project has passed engineering review.
